Deep Love

I’m writing to you about love.

Not the kind of love that they write about

in stories — but the kind

that I write about in mine.

It’s the love that I feel is how it feels

to be a black hole.

Bear with me, while I explain you some physics…

Once upon a time,

there was a Black Hole

named Deep Love.

She lives in outer space,

which is really our word for

the everything inside us.

She is an old soul.

She has lived many lives.

In her past life, she was

a star.

As she grew older, things

just became too much

to bear.

She collapsed.

I know — you probably know this story.

But like all myths, it bears repeating.

It was a big event. She exploded.

All the stars in her supercluster

turned down their own

lights to watch.

Her entire being condensed to a point.

Everything that went near her was consumed

when it got into her personal space

read — event horizon.

Everyone said,

She’s gone insane.

Avoid her, at all costs.

At least, that’s what her friends the stars

thought. That’s what things looked like

from the outside.

But you know, love is never what it seems.

The truth about her transformation.

is far deeper.

To grock this, let’s follow the path of Particle

as they enter the great love of Black Hole.

Particle, unafraid of the unknown, crosses

Deep Love’s horizon.

But upon entering, they don’t simply enter a

bubble from which they cannot escape. No.

Having crossed the threshold, they are as if

in a new universe. Vast, infinite in space, and

full — full of all that has crossed

the threshold at the same time.

In this universe, there is no singularity to

point to. The singularity is their

ultimate demise.

The truth is, this spacious and astounding

universe they’ve entered has a life

of it’s own — and a death.

The universe is collapsing.

It cannot do otherwise.

It is a big crunch.

This is the singularity waiting for Particle —

the impending death of space.

where is love in this? I am asking myself, and maybe

you are asking, too.

People talk about “falling in love”. But what no one

tells you, is that if you’re falling, you’re still

outside the event horizon.

Follow Particle —

cross into Deep Love.

Deep Love is spacious —

she is still.

She is inevitable.

She comes with transiency,

yet feels eternal.

She is a new universe.

And she is crushing.

what happens when Particle is crushed?

and what about me,

and you?

completely

     new.
