Poem-computation

I want to make my life like this, said he.

Like the School of Poetic Computation.

What is poetic about computation, ask I?

Only the structure of words on the page,

a love language with the computer, a

message-in-a-bottle to a future reader —

me?

you?

maybe even a stranger I’ve yet to meet —

    well, I’ve seen stranger.

What is computational about Poem?

Only the way it makes order of my

thoughts, disarrayed like so many

if-elseif-elseif-elseif-elseif —

    else?

It’s okay — my silly thoughts can be

as silly as they want! poetry tends to

compile efficiently at runtime, so I

don’t think too much —

Don’t think too much.

just

write.
